Looking for an Internship? We’ve Got You Covered!

Didn’t find something that grabs your attention here? No worries, you can always search for an internship on your own! Here’s how we can help:

  • Check the Requirements: Before you start, make sure to review the internship requirements to ensure your choice fits the program.

  • Explore Pinboards:

    • On the third floor of the FSW, you’ll find pinboards with exciting vacancies and internships shared by professors.

    • There’s also a pinboard near the Hok, featuring internships that the coordinator has already approved.

  • Visit the Career Zone: They offer plenty of options for internships with various organizations and can guide you in the right direction.

  • Reach Out to Organizations: Try connecting with groups like AIESEC, Cordaid, or COS. They often have tons of opportunities that might be perfect for you!

With these resources, you’re sure to find an internship that’s a great fit. Good luck!

Internship requirements:

  • The internship has to be scientifically based

  • It should encompass a lot more than just making coffee or copying forms

  • Your project has to be defined properly

  • Who and what are you going to be studying where and over which period of time?

  • It is not a ‘shadowing internship’

  • You're supposed to be the boss of your internship

  • You are working at a fairly big organization

  • You’ve got your own working space (so you go from home to your job)

For further information about and/or guidance with the search for an internship, you can always contact the university via stucoanthropology@fsw.leidenuniv.nl.
